Quick report
While travelling the road by motorized recreation and breaking fresh trail through 3+ feet of powder, we were routinely triggering SW facing slopes around 3000ft elevation above us resulting in storm-slabs 6-12" deep affecting today's fresh snow sliding up to perhaps 50 vertical feet down into the road. This was around 2pm, and it had snowed hard with gusty winds at times all day until then. These avalanches were inconsequential from a safety standpoint being in enclosed vehicles on mostly protected terrain, but the snowpack was incredibly touchy and would be quite dangerous in this region on any large open slope that could propagate further. No snowpack tests were performed.
