Quick report
The snow surface was visibly wet, and the upper portion of the snowpack was moist and unsupportable, sinking up to a foot deep in many spots. There were a few small wet loose avalanches around steep, rocky areas.

Today was an extremely hot day for March and the winds were calm except for the occassional light breeze.
Snowpack
Last night's temperatures did little to help with a refreeze. The surface of the snow was wet, with a crust just below; it was unsupportable, and you immediately dropped into saturated snowpack below, anywhere from 10-30cm deep. The upper 50-60cm of the snowpack on NE, E, and W aspects were moist, with visible liquid around the grains. On a north aspect, this moisture was confined to the top 25cm, sitting on a razor crust, and the snowpack was progressively drier the deeper you dug your hand pit below this crust.
