Quick report
During the tour, I noticed widespread surface hoar of varying sizes. In sheltered, shaded slopes, I saw surface hoar bigger than 1cm. On slopes with some solar exposure I observed surface hoar up to 6mm. I also observed a 5cm crust at 5100' that had rounding facets below it. At the ridge at 5100' the winds were calm but back down at 4100' there was an east wind coming up the pass.
