Quick report

Hand pits and ski penetration showed newly re-distributed snow of 30-40cm on the lower half of the climb going down to ~10cm on more exposed N & NE facing ridgelines. No observed avalanches and the only instability found was more sloughing in wind-exposed or thin coverage areas. Near surface graupel above 4400. All in all a great day out, but too cold for more than 1 lap for us. notably better skiing on N, NW aspects or anywhere sheltered from the easterly flow.
