Quick report

Frigid air temp, strong sun, lots of wind transport. We found stout crust on solar aspects and lots wind affect. On the NW bowl of Buillion, midslope trees were much less snowy than trees on the ridgeline, presumably from wind ripping upslope but petering out by the ridgeline. There was lots of wind texture midslope also, like proto-sastrugi but still soft. On the ridgeline, the old skin track was alternately filled in and totally scoured off. We saw a few sluffs coming from trees on solar slopes, but no larger avalanches.
