Widespread evidence of snow transport from easterly winds resulting in cross loading on the south face of goat. SE aspects were most reactive and a D1.5 wind slab was remotely triggered. Minor natural wet loose activity after 1pm on steep and rocky SE aspects.

Remotely triggered D1.5 wind slab on the south ridge of west goat mountain. Triggered from below by a pole probe (!!), from a low-angle bench on the SE side of the ridge. The slab was ~2in thick at the trigger point, and up to ~3ft thick. Crown was about 60ft wide. Skier was not caught.
