Quick report

Cracking
isolated

Watched a groups of skiers drop in to Cement Basin ~200m south along the ridge from where yesterday's slide / neck-deep burial event was triggered. The group's last skier triggered a wind slab roughly 6in deep and 40 feet across, with the slide debris traveling 100 -150 feet downslope. The skier cut right out of debris path.

Avalanche

Left upper C lot at Crystal around 645am and reached the top of East Peak by 9am. At the start of the burnt trees, we noticed signs of storm slab cracking while setting the skin track, but snow seemed otherwise reasonably stable down low. Up high, snow was slightly more wind-affected just shy of the ridge.
