Quick report
Snow line was at the trailhead but didn't start skinning until ~4800ft. Snow depth was variable on the way up - still thin in the Hogsback camp area. Very nice skiing between ~6600ft and the ridge. Snow felt dense and largely homogenous. Not very wind affected. Weather was overcast with periods of better vis. Light snow intermittently. Dug a pit just below the ridge line. North facing. 110cm deep. Dug all the way to glacier ice (that was cool). CTX. Right side up, fist -> four finger. Ice crust 70cm down - is that the glacier snowpack?
