Quick report
The only portion of the bowl that hasn't slid recently is the south aspect, which had no overhead hazard other than wet loose slides. While it is possible to summit by gaining the northeast ridge, it requires spending a lot of time on solar aspects above exposure. Despite clear skies and low temps, there was no overnight refreeze so I opted not to tempt fate. Road conditions - I made it to the scatter creek crossing in a low clearance vehicle. A lifted 4x4 made it to the Cathedral Pass trailhead. The biggest obstacle is currently the scatter creek crossing, which is running thigh to waist deep in the afternoon right now. There are a few notable snow patches past the creek but I suspect they won't last more than a few sunny days.
Avalanche
The headwall of the drainage above Peggy's Pond (below Daniel's east peak) showed a great deal of recent avalanche activity, likely from the warmup this past weekend. The slopes below the SE ridge (the summer scramble route) were littered with debris from cornice collapse, and a large (D2) glide avalanche had occurred on the headwall directly below the summit. Both slopes have significant hangfire hazard currently.
