Quick report

We did get a whump on Horse Canyon ridge - it occurred over a manzanita bush. We also dug a hasty pit and did a shovel shear test - the new storm snow failed very easy upon inserting the shovel blade to the depth of the new snow. We could only move small chunks of cornices and wind slabs on safe test slopes - no propagation. We skied north facing aspects below 28 degrees - not connected to avalanche terrain and south facing aspects with minimal snow coverage.

Underwood/Reba 8650ft. Naturally triggered D1 from cornice drop. Appears to have occurred during the last storm. Two other similar size avalanches were visible on ridge, similar aspect.
