Quick report
We travelled through mutliple aspects and elevations. Any previous dry snow was moistened by the sun or warm temps. Rollerballs and pinwheels on steep solar terrain were observed throughout the day. Snow surfaces were quite variable, as we were spent most of our day in areas affeted by the wind. It was warm, and any melt freeze crust were disintergrating by noon. We opted not to travel on any commiting, consequential slopes where that were shaded due to PWL concerns.

Warm sunny day. Temps were abov e freezing for most of the day, with light winds from the SW. Minimal cloud coverage.
Snowpack
We found a variety of snow surfaces for the next storm to fall on. In sheltered areas where cold air pooled, we found SH. Elsewhere we found NSF on shaded aspects, windboarded on all open terrain, and melt forms/ crusts on solar apsects.
We dug 2 quick pits on a NW aspect, and a ESE aspect. 2/14 and Jan drought PWL's were stubborn in both pits, but would fail or pry off cleanly (SP).
Avalanche
We saw numerous wind slab avalanches that likely failed during the storm last week, and one persitant slab that looked to be remotely triggered, but weren't close enough to determine which PWL. We also saw small WL activity on E faces that likely occured Monday.
