Quick report
Started our tour up Mt Tallac around 8:30am on 2/3, skinning down low after the Spring Creek Rd houses was very low coverage. After the initial elevation gain, all the way up to the summit was pleasant skinning. Saw no movement in the northeast bowl while going up. We checked out the cross and decided against it. Instead we started down the northeast bowl and cut below the cross, through a chute which I dont know the name of. No slabs observed, definitely some surface slough on the steeper sections. Beyond that going down to the skin track above Spring Creek was pretty bad coverage, everyone in the group got plenty of scratches on their boards/skis. Skiing was excellent up top but definitely still need to be careful down low. Lots of barely exposed rocks/cliff bands to watch out for.
