MT West-Bijoux Circuit

Highly reactive windslabs (cracking by skis of sleds) within the top 40cm of snowpack. Significant drifting occuring within the last 24-48 hours. Seen recent cornice fall, releasing recent storm snow (size 1.5). snowpack highly variable due to windloading. 100cm soft snow, awesome riding. Amazing day busting trail from Mt West to Bijoux and out with AST 2 group! (posted by AST 2 students)
