We toured the ridgelines NW of Rotarun ski area, traveling up to around 6500 ft. Had planned to ski lower angle N or NW facing slopes but exited mostly via the skin track after observing whoomphing, significant cracking extending 30 ft in each direction, and large wind loaded cornices. Visibility was minimal with 40-50mph gusts of wind.
