We skied through Lost Boys and up behind Mammoth's Head. We didn't observe any recent avalanches and found a mix of wind affected snow in open areas and up to 25cm of powder in protected areas. We conducted an ECT with no fracture on a 35 degree slope at 1950m on the SE side of the shoulder. There was 15cm of loose powder on top and a hard 7cm crust down 85cm. We were able to mostly avoid the wind affected areas and had a great ski back down the W side of the shoulder.
