Skied an open bowl into a small convexity. Patchy sastrugi near ridgeline became more connected further from the ridge line. Slope rolled over into a small gully covered with windblown snow. A ski cut across the gully to a high point produced a s1, between 5-10cm deep, sliding on a crust. Watch for patchy sastrugi changing to connected slab when descending from ridgeline.
