Quick Observation
It was windier than expected today, and wind transport was evident all day near ridgeline. Snow at the top of Anniversary was good but wind affected, with wind transported snow rapidly filling in old tracks. Hand shears mostly pulled through, a big change from yesterday near Twin One Lake where several failed on isolation. There was evidence of a skier triggered sz1 in Motel 66 couloir. I was too excited about the skiing to look for a crown, but the debris pile looked like more than a sluff (and things weren't sluffing particularly heavily anyhow).
