Quick Observation

Cold day on Iago, things are pretty wind affected. There's some decent snow to be found in the trees, but most of the alpine is very wind affected. We did 3 laps into the bowl and went hunting for less wind affected snow: all west to northerly aspects affected. The denser the trees the better the snow. There were a few 1-2cm deep x 2-3m wind load pockets that fractured, but didn't really go anywhere. Below the 40-50cm things are pretty solid. Mixture of wind crust and load can found beside each other. Wind was blowing pretty good and all over the map, main direction maybe west? Tree wells are of concerns with some loose snow around them.
