-
Lots of cracking in the new snow.

I had no results from ECT tests.
My CT tests were all over the place. CT tests were generally failing with easy to moderate effort and Q2 shears. Failure was on the new snow/Fri. snow interface, the Fri. snow/old snow interface and at the ground. Interestingly enough, I had no failures under the rime crust where most of my stability tests have been failing. I did have a lot of columns fail at the ground with energy and easy effort.
More wind today and a decent amount of snow, I imagine we experienced another avalanche cycle but I didn't get a look into avalanche terrain.
I imagine a lot of instabilities will settle out by tomorrow but I would still be very concerned about the lurking deep slab on steep wind loaded slopes.
