- <p>Some natural avalanches pouring off the steepest sunny slopes. Many seemed to initiate right around the rocks. Triggered a few wind slabs today. The deeper pockets were about 2' deep, seemed to be loaded from spin drift coming off the steep slopes above. Slabs would not move on slopes much under 40*, but would crack around skis.</p>

- <p>I would expect these to become more stubborn and settle out quickly. </p> <p>With continued warm temps and solar would expect another day of activity.</p>
Cold powder holding on protected norths, slightly wind affected in more exposed areas. Sunny slopes were picking up heat through the day.
