We skied into the Boundary Creek Yurt on the afternoon of the 30th. We observed frequent collapses and whumpfi g on our tour. In the morning of the 31st we saw that the steep west/northwest facing slope just south of the yurt avalanched overnight. We were able to approach the crown on low angle terrain but did not do any detailed analysis due to some hang fire. The crown was about 3 feet deep and extended 600 feet or so. The slab developed from the past several days of storms seemed to have failed on a thin sun crust at the new snow/old snow interface. It ran full length of the path, missing the Boundary Creek Yurt by 200 feet.
