Avalanche in Prospector

There were some red flags on the way up, as whumpfing and shooting cracks. We chose to stick to high ground on the ridge and picked a less steep line down. The first rider missed the right way around a tree on the ridge and ended on a steep slope where he triggered an avalanche. We had some good turns on the less steep terrain, but the steep terrain was very sensitive to avalanches.

Boarder accidentally triggered an avalanche. He was not buried and was not taken by it. He could stop just as the snow started moving.
