Quick Observation
Beautiful crisp day with really good skiing both in the alpine and BTL. Lots of wind action again at almost all elevations, coming from the NE/E. Most of the aspects are strongly wind affected but we managed to find good cold powder down a SW Face and on down SW facing trees coming back at the end of the day. We did have to kick numerous wind slabs both along ridgelines and on slopes. We triggered about 10 different hard slabs from obvious convex and loaded features, they all ran about 10 to 25cm deep and all about size 0.5+ Winds were a concern today as well as the reactivity of the slabs and the variability of the snow surface.
