Skied STS couloir today and were pleasantly surprised that there was enough new snow to erase previous tracks.
There was a decent SW breeze at ridgetop that was working with the warm temps to make some new pockets of windslab in the lee. Mostly unreactive at the time we passed through but continuing to load up. We did find a few small, isolated pockets mid-line that wanted to come skiing with us.
Happy to see new snow but will be wary of those windslabs in the coming days.
