Shames - Thunderbowl

Skied Thunderbowl and Coldsweat today. 1500m down to 900m on East facing terrain. Sky was overcast most of the day with a few sunny breaks. Winds calm, temps below zero. Skiing was very good down to 1100m where a mostly supportive and edgeable crust was found. Very little wind affected snow along the ridge made for continuous trail breaking through the day. With good light could see surprisingly little avalanche activity in surrounding mountains.
