Puzzle peak

Went to go ski puzzle peak but it was pretty cloudy and snowy with limited vis so just skied some mellow trees below instead. On the ski out we saw an old natural avi that failed on the basal facets (15-20cm) above ground. Snowpack felt stable and saw no other signs of instability. We did see some wind effect in spots at treeline and I can imagine it’s more widespread up high. Didn’t run into the temperature crust even at low elevation. The day was quite nice around -6 ish and limited wind.
