Avalanche Information

15-20cm new snow on a thick crust. Day was warm. Expected avalanche activity so avoided steep open slopes. On our second run down around 2pm the temps really warmed up, triggered multiple wet loose slides on steep aspects as we skied down where new snow depth was variable. It was fairly localised and ski line penetration weakened the snowpack causing these slides. Didn’t propogate but picked up more snow as it slid down. Released a few of these on a north slope in the same area. Around 1800m. No one caught or buried but be careful out there the warming is real.

Weather

Warm day above zero around 1800m
