25-30 cm overlies the early Feb melt freeze crust. Extensive wind effect from north to north west winds. Alpine generally wind hammered. Lenses of stiff windslab whumphing, cracking, but not moving in small terrain features. Sun crust on solar aspects treeline. Settled pow found in sheltered areas.
