Planned to ski a north facing aspect of canyon creek. There was a main gully feature with a convex roll at the top that was around 35 degrees. We ski cut the top of the convex roll and saw a thin 5cm wind slab propagate about 1m off of our ski tips that quickly broke up on the slope and did not slide more than 5m. First skier skied down the left shoulder avoiding the main gully feature and the avalanche triggered 10 metres above the skier and just right of their tracks. The skier cut left into the trees and was not involved in the slide.
