Quick report

Red Flags
Heavy Snowfall, Wind Loading

The last couple of inches of snow came in upside-down with small grauple and rimed dendrites. Wind moved a bit of snow around overnight covering yesterdays skin track in exposed areas. There is enough new snow to fill and cover old tracks in the north woods and skiing and riding conditions are excellent. Wind transport on higher, exposed areas could be significant. A triggered wind drift could step down into faceted layers, causing a large avalanche. The mountains were clouded in with no visibility of the larger avalanche paths.
