-
We did not experience any cracking or collapsing nor note any new avalanches off the north side of the West Willow ridgeline.

Only a quick afternoon outing. Travel was Willows to West Willow ridgeline and into Beartrap. No signs of instability. Profile and photo attached; weakest snow found in between the two early March crusts; though main concerns for the weekend will be wet avalanches and lingering storm slab issues from today. This snow/water/wind will have been a decent test for the January facets...
Snowpack
Classic Wasatch storm...for March. Right side-up seemingly by afternoon but then a touch of sun and greenhousing turned the snow on a dime.
