Skied the trees at red cone, essentially following the skin track on the ridge the way down. We felt that we stayed out of any avalanche terrain that could possibly slide, in terrain well below 28°. When we dug a pit, a CT1 collapse was observed at the weak layer towards the bottom of the snow pack on a small low angle north facing aspect.
