- Collapsing, Poor Snowpack Structure
We stuck to the low angle aspens on the south side of bunchgrass. Sunny and really pleasant from 10-2, light wind with gusts. Skinning up, we didn't wallow in the ground sugar, which was nice, and all day we felt mostly really supportable snow. No cracks observed. A few bigger clearings whoomphed loudly, but I ski cut and stomped on several steep ridge-top rollovers and nothing went.
