- <p>Still finding full propegation on December faceted weak layers, and in places, on buried surface hoar.</p>
We found a buried surface hoar layer about a foot under the surface. This is visible in the snowpit wall and is easily found in stability tests
We found Q1 and full propagation in shallower snow at around 7700' on an east facing slope just below the Spring Road, but even in the the same pit, test scores were not very consistent.
Snowpack
Nice and smooth, mostly supportable, fast graupel on a rain crust. Easy traveling conditions.
