Avalanche happened at approximately 5pm on a 38 degree slope. Skied the dog leg trees without incident and the slope adjacent to the west we skied yesterday as a slab had not yet formed. That was not the case today as I skied around the trees to find this particular slope. It broke at my ski after a gentle ski cut. A good reminder of the particularly dangerous conditions in the coming days.
