Quick report

Collapsing
specific

We noticed that the recent avalanches that occurred had very large crowns, and the debris traveled near full path. Along our ride I rode near a small feature on the slope to the side of it and it triggered the small cornice to fail on a clean bed surface. About an hour later in sheltered terrain we felt a collapse as two riders parked together. No other signs of instability were observed, however the surface snow was thick and under was still punchy. Wind slabs felt very packed together. Temps were warm in the sun however the wind kept things chilly and no rapid warming was observed.
