Quick report
Toured up to Excelsior Mountain today from Virginia Lakes. We traveled with caution due to last nights storm. New snow has been deposited mostly in drifts from a few inches to several feet high but the coverage is still thin overall. Above 11,000’ the surface is bulletproof hard. No avalanches observed in the entire basin.
