Quick report
212 Rescue Squadron Alaska Air National Guard conducted Level 1 avalanche certification training at the base of microdot. Snowpack is thin but skied well. Performed a full profile snow pit, see attached. Layer of concern was about 30 cm down, 4 to 5 cm thick, showing rounding facets, and propagation observed on propagation saw test. No significant signs of weakness or recent avalanches. Wx: Warm, overcast, and calm.
