Quick report

I've made a weekly habit of visiting Jenny Lake:

  • This was the first visit in the last 3 weeks that didn't feature recent avalanches or rumbling collapses.
  • We focused our snowpack observations on sunny slopes. Our tests yielded stable results.
  • All slopes showed signs of previous wind, but we experienced no cracking.
  • We saw no signs of wet loose on the slopes in our view shed.

We gave steep shaded slopes a wide buffer.
