Quick report
Rode up Seattle ridge and out to the weather station to get an inventory of current duty conditions ahead of some much needed snowfall in the coming days. Surface conditions are variable but are all on the bad side of the spectrum. Sastrugi, anti-tracks, impenetrable wind board, ice, and a few small pockets of facets. No recent avalanches observed. Low danger days are a perfect time to brush up on rescue skills, se we spent some time working through avalanche rescue scenarios in Main bowl.
