Quick report

We toured via Superbowl to access the Goldpan area. Weather was calm and mostly sunny. We dug a snowpit ~3000' and found ~1ft of new snow sitting atop of a small layer of facets, above the old firm snow surface. In our tests we did not find propagation (ECTN14 @ ~40cm on small facets). The goldpan ridge had a suncrust which was softened in the sun and transitioned back to dry snow as you descended into the bowl. The new snow was dry and sluff ran fast on the Superbowl side but skied more like 8in of consolidated dry snow in Goldpan. There were several other groups skiing in the area.

Avalanche

Several small stormslab's and many loose dry avalanches observed between Cornbiscuit, Magnum, and in Goldpan.
