Observation: Aspen Grove

While hiking the Stewart Falls trail (7200ft) in steep, eastern facing aspects, there was evidence of roller-balls forming around 3:30pm. Noting this, I decided to conduct experiments to see if it was from earlier in the day when the sun was warming that aspect or if the conditions still existed. With only a little encouragement they could be easily manufactured and became quite large in height (but not necesarily in breadth) before breaking apart.
