Quick report
Enjoyed intermittent blue sky and good snow conditions throughout the day. A steady 10-15 G 25 WSW wind was scouring the face, and loading the upper portions of the NE bowl. It looked like about 4-6" of fresh snow since the last sled up the road in protected areas. We observed light hoar frost on open areas first thing this morning. We skied a low angle treed NE aspect, stepping out carefully on our second lap and avoiding wind slabs. Skiing the SW face was scoured in higher elevations, and became more tenable around 6500 feet, then had a light solar effected crust starting at 5800 and growing thicker down to 5000ft where we transitioned. Stability overall seemed decent, though the size and severity of wind slabs certainly affected our travel.
