Quick report
A skier in our party triggered a small (D1) avalanche in recent storm snow on a short, moderately steep, E aspect. The rider was not caught or carried. The rest of our day was spent on low angle slopes where we found great quality skiing and observed no other signs of instability. Weather alternated between sun and intermittent snowfall with occasional bouts of brief wind.
