Went out curious to see how the new snow was behaving. At lower, sheltered elevations around 5600ft, it was just fist+ dry snow. As we gained elevation, the wind had done its work and it picked up stiffness. One collapse happed on a mid-20s angle slope, west aspect around 6600ft. We had some cracking, but it was all isolated. Lower angle west aspects had a well developed crust beneath the new snow, and treebombs clearly contributed to a bouncy ride in tightly treed terrain. Skies were generally overcast, with patches of sun. Winds were light, with maybe a moderate gust or two. Only light accumulations during the day.
