Weekend hike in the Northern Whitefish Range. About 5 inches of heavy, wet snow at 5000ft, increasing in depth to about 12 inches at our high point of 7200ft. Snow was dry above roughly 6500ft. On ridges, saw active snow transport and the formation of baby cornices...able to get some isolated cracking on the baby whales.
