Quick report
Stability was at a point where we were not constantly re-evaluating/second guessing terrain choices, but avalanche brains were definitely on and it seemed like something could have slid if u “hit the cafeteria tray..” one of my favorite analogies by Doug Chabot. Lots of rollerballs on all aspects. Bowling snowballs off the road produced truck tire sized pinwheels that would break apart but did not seem to propagate anything in the storm snow.

SNOTEL told the truth. 2+ inches of water from weds/thurs storm was easily a foot and a half of wet snow at mid/upper elev. seemed like storm snow from this week was a bit upside down. Maybe it was colder when it started snowing on Monday.. storm left warm last night for sure
