Quick report
Went up to Patsy Marley for a snow check and was pleasantly surprised to find great riding conditions on high elevation N facing slopes. The photo below shows a snowpit at 10,320' on a NW facing slope. New snow up at upper elevations totaled 4". The snowpack remains right-side up for now, and continues to hold multiple crusts (as seen in photo). The only result from our Extended Column Test resulted in ECTN-3 at the new/old snow interface. Snow depths below 9,500' are pretty abysmal, making the approach and exit less than ideal. It's worth noting these lower elevation conditions would make any sort of rescue complicated.
