Dug a pit on an undisturbed and protected north facing aspect outside of the Brighton boundary below Mt Millicent at 9800ft. Deepest snowpack I've yet to measure this season at 185cm. Weak layer was buried approximately 1 meter at this location. Performed an ECT with no results. This is a bit misleading, as you have to take into account that most slopes in the Wasatch right now do not hold this much snow. This means the weak layer is not buried as deep, and therefore it is easier to trigger. Measured 0.5 - 1.0 inch of new light density snow.
