Quick report
Ski toured past the Nunatak up in Look Eyrie Basin. Dug a pit at about 5,600’ on North facing slope. Approx. 100 cm of light density recent snow on surface that transitioned into a heavier and more consolidated snowpack below. ECT test failed at 8 taps on faceted layer 150 cm deep. Deduced to stay on low angle slopes and enjoy the perfect powder skiing.
